How properly painting the interior of your home can change your home is something we understand better than anyone else. From single rooms to whole house redecorations, we cover every interior work in croydon and neighbouring regions.
What we do
From simple repainting jobs to elaborate decorative designs, we do everything. We prepare, before we start, the walls and ceilings, fix any issues, and apply undercoats and topcoats. After we finish, we ensure everything is clean.
The majority of our projects involve the use of emulsion paint on walls and ceilings, as well as gloss or satinwood paint on wood features such as skirting boards, door trims, and window trims. We do feature walls and other paint finish designs, and we take the time to work with you to pick the colors or paint finishes that work best, or collaborate and aid you in deciding on some.
People underestimate how much preparation can affect the quality of the finished paint work. You can’t just slap paint over dodgy walls and expect it to look good. We fill cracks, sand down rough patches, and make sure surfaces are clean and ready. If there’s something like damp or severe damage, we prepare you before starting. The problem has to get fixed first, otherwise the paint won’t be able to adhere.
Common Jobs We Handle
People want to completely redecorate their homes after purchasing to add their own personal touch, and we are more than happy to help. If it is easier for clients to work with us on one room at a time, we can do the entire house at once and finish it room by room.
People often get single rooms, like the bedrooms, living rooms, or kitchens completely redone to make the house their own. For kitchens, we use a special paint to ensure it is cleaned and moisture friendly.
Hallways and stairs seem like a quick job, but are time consuming because of the cutting around banisters and tricky angles. We value doing prep work properly, because we believe it will show the quality of our work.
People sometimes forget to request their ceilings to be painted, but it can really bring a room together, especially if it has been yellowed from old smoke. A fresh coat of ceiling white will completely lift a room.
Older homes that have a lot of history take extra time to have their work done. If there are artistic features to the interior, like molding, picture frames, or traditional woodwork, we make sure to consider those details. Removing old paint from woodwork that is extensively detailed requires doing so with care, but is worth it.
Wallpaper Removal and Painting
There are a number of different jobs that involve removing wallpaper before painting. Removing some wallpaper is more of a challenge. Woodchip is one of the more annoying. It takes longer to remove. However, we have got the tools and expertise to remove it without damaging the plaster.
Removing the wallpaper first gives us an idea to see what condition to start with. Depending on what condition the walls are, there are different steps that need to be taken. There are times when some walls need a skimming, and there are times when a filling and sanding will be more than enough. We always do our best to be honest regarding the situation so we don’t waste work and time.

Woodwork and Trim
Skirting, architraves, and door frames are time intensive jobs. Each one requires a complete sanding, filling of dents and gaps, priming of bare wood, undercoat, and a topcoat.
Soft satin is more popular as a finish now than gloss. It is more easily sustainable and doesn’t highlight imperfections as much. We are fine with either depending on your preference.
If it is in poor condition with flaking, rot, or damage, we will make this known to you. It’s a waste to paint over wood that has damage.
Colours and Finishes
We can accommodate any colour preferences you have, or, if you’re unsure, we can recommend some based on the room’s size, light, and purpose. Warm colours are good for north-facing rooms, while south-facing rooms can have colder ones.
We use satin emulsion for ceilings and most walls, as it’s more cost-effective and hides imperfections better than other finishes. For kitchens and bathrooms, some prefer vynil silk as it is more wipeable, but it does show every bump in the wall.
If you want to do something different but don’t want to splash a bold colour on all the walls, we recommend feature walls! Just keep in mind that darker colours need more coats to achieve good coverage.

What you get
Every bit of work we do is finished to a high standard. Etched edges, no drips, no overpainting, Even the final clean is thorough and we take all the rubbish away.
We use good quality trade paint that is well worth the price you pay for the work. It doens’t come from the cheap DIY stores. It looks and covers better, and will last longer.
If we finish and you have an issue, tell us so we can come out and fix it. It rarely happens, but it happens, and we will fix it. No questions.
